Here's Alex, he's about 6-7 months old and is a Alexandrine Parrot.

Iv had him for around 4 months so he's still pretty new to my bird family
I recently discovered that he loves to sit and watch movies with you and makes a type of growling noise when he hears someone calling my name; I think he knows that it means that I have to move and stop giving him cuddles

Despite his large intimidating beak he's really just a big sweetie and so gentle, although he can be very destructive. I learnt that the hard way, never leave your valuables, such as your iPad in his path even for just a second... as my iPad now has a nice big crack on side of the screen, luckily it hasn't affected it.

This was inspired by a storm I was watching far out in the distance with Alex yesterday, it was a really fierce lightning storm, constant lightning.
